Katherine Argentino is a Senior Associate in WG&M’s Bairnsdale office.

Katherine has over 15 years’ experience in Superannuation and Insurance claims and litigation. She has a depth of knowledge and skills in helping people who are unable to work due to injury or illness with various insurance claims, including total and permanent disablement (TPD) and income protection, life insurance and trauma insurance, along with general insurance claims such as home and contents.

She also practices in the areas of Personal Injuries and Commercial and Business Law.

Katherine grew up in Bairnsdale and recently returned to the area after practising in both Melbourne and Perth. Katherine is passionate about helping people and businesses in regional areas understand their legal rights and using her experience to ensure that they get the best possible outcomes.

Following the 2019/2020 bushfires, Katherine volunteered for Disaster Legal Help Victoria at the Bushfire Recovery Centre in Bairnsdale on a regular basis. Further to this work, Katherine has presented to case workers and financial counsellors to assist individuals and small businesses affected by the drought, bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Katherine is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV), Co-Chair of the LIV Regional Lawyers Reference Group, a member of East Gippsland Disability Advisory Committee, a volunteer member of Soundfair's Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and Vice President of EmpowHer East Gippsland.
